From 2013 IIT-JEE introduces new pattern of examination here are few highlights of exam
IIT-JEE 2013 New Pattern
1. There will be two exam of JEE from 2013 JEE mains followed by JEE advance
2. These two exam will be held on the gap of 1 to 2 months.
3. Apart from these two exam there will be a weightage to class XIIth exam also.
4. IIT will be shortlist 1,50,000 students on the basis of JEE Mains exam and final selection will be on the basis of JEE advance.
5. Those students who want to take admission in NITs need not to sit for JEE advance exam. There selection will be on the basis of Mains exam and 40% weightage to class XIIth exam.
6. JEE Mains will be conducted CBSE and Advance exam will be conducted by IIT.
These are some proposed highlight of IIT-JEE 2013 new pattern still the actual decision is pending.

IIT-JEE 2013 Offline Exam will be held on – 7th April 2013
Online Exam – Between 8th April to 30th April 2013(the exact dates will
be announced soon)
IIT-JEE 2013 Eligibility Criteria
For appearing in JEE 2013 you have to pass the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination Those appearing in 10+2 (Class XII) final or equivalent examination in 2013 may also appear in JEE 2013 provisionally.
